I have the software and technology right now to
conference with thousands of people all over the globe as
long as they have high speed Internet access.
With this technology, we have launched "Cyber
Missionary" ... which will be a global network of
missionaries connected via the Internet, meeting together
in Cyber Conferences.
The Vision ... if we could place a computer system (Cyber
Station) in the hands of a Missionary somewhere in the
world, say Philippines and if he/she had access to the
Internet, they could use the software and technology that
we have to be part of global conferences.
Then by way of a video projector, the conference could be
projected onto a screen and 500 or more could watch.
Think of it like this. We can minister to a 500 to 1,000
people in a foreign land without getting on a plane and
flying half way round the world. Not that there is a
problem with doing that. But there are many people who
simply cannot fly, who have a wealth of ministry to give. I
know several great men of God who are in their 80's who
have great teaching ministries and can effectively reach
the world from the comfort of their own home.
What if we placed 10,000 "Cyber Stations" around the
world and each one could be shown to 500 or more
people. We could quite conceivably reach 5 million people
with one conference. Then at the click of the mouse, we
could bring in an evangelist from anywhere on earth, as
long as they have high speed Internet.
It will cost approximately $4,000 to $6,000 to place a
"Cyber Station" i.e. computer, monitor, web cam,
microphone, software, video projector and high speed
Internet connection, in another country depending on
where it is. Once we have established one Cyber Station,
we can add more as soon as there is someone trained to
handle the equipment.
So for about $50,000 we can set up 10 Cyber Stations in say Botswana and each one of them by way of the video
projector, can reach 400 to 500 people or more.
That's 5,000 people we can minister to 365 days

We will provide an Intranet that will contain
resources for educational and ministry purposes
such as Christian movies,
video and audio in the language of that country.

insurance and any other area that is pertinent to that particular country.
We will seek experts in every field who will submit advice in the form of e-books or PDF files that missionaries can
download. We will provide information to assist them in education, the running of orphanages and frail care facilities
and bible school matters.

Introduction :
Just under 20 years ago, my wife, Loraine and I, with our son and
daughter, came to the USA and have travelled more than 240,000 miles
in this country and flown to other parts of the Globe in over 4,000
revival meetings.
We were in a sense, missionaries but sent by God to a technically
advanced country. When we first arrived, cell phones were not
available and we had to stop at truck stops to use the pay phone.
It was not long and we had our first computer. Soon after that we were
thrilled to purchase the first bag cell phones. Essentially a bag about
the size of two large bibles with a half of it being a battery and the
other half the phone with a handset attached by a cable.
It was great to have the ability to connect with friends, family and
ministry contacts where ever there was a signal. Over the years, we
have watched technology explode and 20 years later are doing things
we could only dream of when we first began our ministry travels.
We now have five ministry web sites and have 24/7 video on demand,
streaming audio and podcasts, blogs etc and together, they reach about
1,500 first time visitors and about 4,000 return visitors each month.
Now that may not seem like much, but these are folks that we probably
will never see physically in our meetings, but we are touching their
lives using technology.
I have always been grateful that our calling was not to a third world
country, not that I have a problem with those countries, but we would
not have had the technology to do what we have been able to do here
in the USA.
I thought about the many missionaries I had met over the past 20 years
and began to realize how difficult their task was. They leave the
shores of their country of birth to go to a brand new country on their
own, and begin to minister to the people of that country.
What if we could use technology to connect missionaries all over the
globe to their friends, families and supporters. We could use the same
technology to hold revival meetings across the globe for a fraction of
the cost of travelling there personally.
I woke up early one morning with the vision of Cyber Missionary
vividly etched in my spirit. I saw the whole plan as if a blue print had
been laid before me. I got up immediately and began to put the idea
together as the Lord prompted me. By the end of the day, I had
CyberMissionary.com domain purchased and a rudimentary page live
on the Internet.
Over the next few days, I added more pages and did some research and
the result is what you are reading right now.
